Is Osama Bin Laden dead?

Close friends of legendary gem hunter and Michigan author Gary Bowersox say he is seriously ill. Bowersox has traveled extensively through Afghanistan and Pakistan for more than 30 years and knows the people of the region and the dangers of this hot spot first hand… all in the pursuit of the finest jewels on the planet.

According to Bowersox, with the capture of Abu Faraj al-Libbi, the number three Al Qaeda leader, word on the “street” is that Bin Laden is deathly ill. If and when he dies, Al Qaeda is not likely to keep it quiet instead he believes they’ll make every effort to make him a martyr. Furthermore US forces and the Pakistani President’s supporters are closing in on Al Qaeda’s position in Pakistan. Bowersox should know, he served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense shortly after September 11th to help locate Osama bin Laden by identifying the rock formations behind him in the photos and video. He was also close friends of the Northern Alliance leader Massoud, who Bin Laden had executed two days before 911.

Bowersox can shed light on the unfolding situation in Afghanistan and provide historical perspective on why one of the best ways to help the people of that region is to purchase gems, which have the potential of being a large “legal” export, with Opium being the largest illegal export.
